our little family: treehouse

Miles is a huge whopping teenager about seven feet taller than this now. Pal is about the same height, but, how can I put this delicately, his girth has expanded somewhat. The trees are a bit taller and wider. The treehouse is the same size. Every summer we talk about doing a proper ladder up to the treehouse, but my old white extension ladder is still there now.

I took this picture with a little Canon film camera, it's an Advanced Something-Or-Other (sorry to get all technical). It has this panorama trick that lets you take long blurry photos. This might have been the first time I ever stood the camera on it's side in panorama mode.

Its hard to tell, but I think Pal is looking up so devotedly because Miles has food.
