design: left coast wallpaper

January 15, 2005 I live in the Pacific Northwest, near the salt water. Sometimes I'll get wind of a good sunset and take my camera out to the beach. The sky can be dramatic, dark, inspiring, gloomy and wet, sometimes all at once. If you'd like to sit at your computer and pretend you're out on the beach gazing westward into the sunset, you've come to the right place.

I contribute photos to the stock.xchng site every so often. The site is a cooperative effort of designers and photographers around the world. Photos are contributed without compensation and are available for use by anyone, often with no or easy restrictions. There is no charge or membership fee. My little photo gallery at the site will likely grow over time. All photos were taken with my trusty Canon AE-1 using either Velvia 100F or Kodak Ultracolor 400 film. I haven't quite yet migrated over to the digital photo world yet.
