faith
Scattered around the globe are the several million adherents of the Bahá'í Faith. I'm very happy to announce that the Faith is a quiet breath of fresh air and common sense in a world gone thoroughly mad. Bahá'ís get along pretty well with other people. We don't start wars. We're not bossy. We don't beg for money on the television. We observe the rule of law and also observe the laws and teachings of our Faith. On these few pages, I'll try to present information about the Faith that might be of general interest, and point you in the right direction if you'd like to learn more.
Bahá'í prayer of the day
Revised September 7, 2008 There are now two Bahá'í prayer of the day offerings: the small one you see on this page, and the Google Gadget for personalized iGoogle home pages (read more about that one below). They both display the same prayers, photos, and dates each day. The prayers are attuned to the special days in the Bahá'í calendar, and the photos were selected for individual prayers during the bahaiprayers.org redesign earlier this year. This little version was designed to give away, so that you could have a Bahá'í prayer of the day panel on your own website if you wish. If you'd like to see how it works, or want to add one to your web page, code and instructions follow. learn more...
Bahá'í prayer of the day Google Gadget
September 7, 2008 If you have a personalized iGoogle home page, you can now add a Bahá'í prayer of the day gadget to it. It displays the opening lines of the prayer, the date in the Bahá'í calendar, and the photo that accompanies the prayer on the bahaiprayers.org website. The selected prayers are identical to those displayed in the smaller version shown on this page, but you will see a bit more of the prayer, with typography that matches the bahaiprayers.org look. I hope that this little gadget gives you a moment of happiness when you open your web browser first thing in the morning. Follow the link to the gadget's page on Google.
